Janet offers educational support for teachers, school faculty, and parents in Oregon and across the United States. In addition, Janet is available for Parent Education to present keynote speeches, parent enrichment talks, and parent workshops.
In addition to extensive Waldorf training, Janet has a B.S.cum laude in Elementary Ed. from the University of Maine. She has been a Waldorf class and subject teacher for 14 years, with a special interest in form drawing and geometry. She currently works with schools, offering parent education, teacher observations and evaluations, individual teacher coaching, and professional development for staff and faculty. She specializes in gender differences and in particular helps parents and teachers understand boys and how to make school and home a place where they can be successful. She is the author of "Boys Alive! Bring Out Their Best!"
