Waldorf Teacher Development

Janet Allison has been a class and specialty teacher for more than 14 years.

Now, working as an independent consultant, as one administrator said, "Janet can do for your school what may be difficult for you to do for yourself. She is a skilled observer of teachers. A master..."

After keen observation and deep conversation with the teacher, Janet engages the teacher and administration in an evaluation and feedback process. She brings insights, recommendations, and a positive plan of action for the teacher's development, classroom management, and adherence to curriculum standards, all within an atmosphere of confidence and genuine support.

Follow-up visits ensure that changes have been implemented and continued support and recommendations build a strong foundation of teaching and classroom management skills.

She has coordinated the 4th grade Oregon Potlatch for 3 years and can guide program development for your school.

She is an experienced story teller and teaches teachers how to learn, and easily recall the stories that enrich the Waldorf curriculum.
